OK, so don't nobody wanna talk about 2 by 2's and Moments of Inertia. Fine! (I don't blame ya'.) Though I have one more inflation by deflation post coming - nothing to do with lumber and there will be no math - now for something completely different.

The following 7-odd minute video is part (it can't be all, I'm sure) of an interview of Racial Realist Jared Taylor some members of the Japanese press. Mr. Taylor is founder of "AmRen" or the American Renaissance organization. It is strongly and unabashedly pro White people. Mr. Taylor is a tough bird, I gotta say, not just to say certain obvious things publicly - when they let him, but to always stay so calm under pressure.

In the comment thread of the Unz Review link above, I found a tweet with this pretty cool video. The way I am with searches - I try the obvious first - doesn't freaking work - I feel lucky to have gotten this one on bitchute.

As soon as you get started, you may be shocked to see that everyone is speaking Japanese. Usually, everyone around the world caters to English speakers, but Jared Taylor speaks fluent Japanese. I know he lived in Japan for quite a few years (don't know at what ages), but this is still impressive. And, yes, the two Japanese women are pretty cute - does that explain Jared Taylor's having lived in Japan for quite a few years?

I can also say that is really nice to see these three journalists hear Jared Taylor out. OTOH, boy do they come into this with a plethora of ignorance*, well, it must be blissful.

* @ 01:20: "But man's equality is written under the Declaration of Independence." Dude, please! First of all, "under" it? I know Olde English is not your first language, but that says "John Hancock' under there. Secondly, the Declaration was a statement - it's not the law. Finally, I guess plenty of Americans don't understand that Jefferson's point was about equal treatment under the law and endowment of natural rights either so what can we expect?

PS: All true, Alarmist. That's why their initial ignorance astounded me. It's not like they don't have a history IN Japan, of black men from the US military bases raping and murdering. Can they not extrapolate that knowledge?

Perhaps they needed to come off that way to "save face" and not look like "racists" in the eyes of the hypocritical Japanese viewers, who, as you say, are pretty hard-core with that. Then they let Jared go on and teach them something.

Another possibility is that these journalists had been imbued with the narrative of Japan's propaganda that would badmouth the US as a bunch of racist White people treating the Negroes so badly - the Chinese gov't does some of this, just basically to say "we are better than you", though some must know it's BS. OTOH, the Japs have been tight allies - it doesn't mean they can't badmouth our society though.

Did you all catch the part at the end when Jared Taylor explained why he needed high security at his house?

PS: Dieter, Mr. Hail's site is: https://hailtoyou.wordpress.com/

"Hail to You"

I link to it and mention it every time he's got a new essay up. That is, since he was going full bore on the PanicFest posts 3 years ago. I read all of them though. He was a relief from the unz writers (excepting syndicated columnist MIchelle Malkin, Mike Whitney, C.J. Hopkins, and a few others) who seemed pretty panicked by the whole thing.

I see your tiny URL and raise you this Peak Stupidity post, Dieter, from 3 weeks ago:

"Tucker Carlson interviews Pending Political Prisoner Douglass Mackey"

As I was informed of in the comments, the guy's well-known internet name was Ricky Vaughan.

PS: Thanks for that background on the Virginia Declaration, J1234. It makes sense that Jefferson would have wanted to leave out "independent", not unless everyone assumed that "men" meant "White men". That's probably taking it too far.

Anyway, no, I had thought of a deck years ago when it would have been a fun project, but I didn't have the money. Now, it's that I'm not so enamored with big projects. I did build a little shop with all the general "systems" as a house. Most of the woodworking, making a few porch swings, the tables, etc, I did long ago. Even so, the prices now are shocking.

PS

Sorry to be blunt, but it’s rich hearing a Jap talk about equality given their notorious racism towar Gaijin. . Richer still to hear one say that Mr. Taylor might have a point, though she suggests she can’t believe she thinks that. Japan is/was successful precisely because its socio-economic model was Japan First and Japan for the Japanese. They would die as a nation if they follow the West down the rabbit hole of DIE, and most of them know it, but increasingly their leaders are playing the good vassals of a nation (USA) that is willfully destroying itself on the altar of WEF values.

PS

This is a well known, maybe 1 year+ old interview. Jared Taylor had posted it at the Unz Review. I'd also like to know more about the Japanese journalist and - about the reception of the interview. Especially interesting would be a comparison southeast Asia vs. the West.

Btw. - thx. Mr. Hail for the recommendation of my X site. For those Peakers new to the forum: Mr. Hail is running a very interesting site with essays. He covered Covid in depth and also the shenanigans of the snowflake/Gender-equality, "anti-racism*" and equality of outcome movement and other interesting topics.

*this is especially tricky subject, because it implies that if you don't follow the "there are no race differences" guidelines - that that makes you a racist already. They don't debate so much - these folks rather put up a minefield in the public discourse.

Btw. - I recommend Tucker Carlson's interview (ca. 20 minutes) with an honest man who mocked Hillary Clinton online and is now threatened by the government who tries to imprison him for satirical remarks."Jailed for a Meme" is is titled.
(For reasons I don't get, the bing link seems to be whacky - tiny url should do better)

PS-

Great interview. Thanks for posting. I'm trying to figure out why the cute Japanese girls were part of the interview. They didn't ask many questions. Were they there to protect the man in case Nazi Jared started getting violent? :) Or maybe they were just there to look cute (mission accomplished.) Or an unedited video has them asking more questions.

You're right...the D of I is not law. Neither is the Statue of Liberty. My argument: I believe that the wording of the equality statement in the Declaration was Jefferson trying to present his equality idea in a way that wouldn't be a threat to slavery in southern states/colonies, for southern slave states/colonies needed to ratify the Declaration for it to go into effect. They wouldn't have ratified it if slavery was threatened.

To elaborate, Virginia's Declaration of Rights is where Jefferson got his "equality" framework, and this Virginia document said (in its first draft) that "all men are born equally free and independent." This is a much more true and moral statement than the notion that all men are created equal but the "free and independent" phrase would've been perceived as a threat to slavery. "Created equal" was seen as more vague, and TJ never imagined it would later be interpreted/corrupted to mean people are in essence identical to each other in ability. He meant, as you said, people are equal under the law.

As to the lumber stuff - based on your posts I'm guessing you're a guy with one VERY impressive backyard deck!!
