Well, that depends on whether you are an 18 y/o college student during the time of the real Elvis, or a parent who should be wise enough to know what that all entails.

Yeah, this guy was the real Elvis for a short time in the history of rock music. What a goofy guy, but he sure wrote some good music. Peak Stupidity will feature him, and another even-less known figure from the not-very-often-touted genre of geek rock some more in the near future.

Elvis Costello and the Attractions:

As I walk through
this wicked world,
searchin' for light in the darkness
of insanity.
I ask myself
"is all hope lost?"
Is there only pain and hatred,
and misery?
And each time I feel like this inside,
there's one thing I want to know:
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?
Ohhhh. What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?

(What's so funny bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding? was written by English musician Nick Lowe in 1974, but was covered by Elvis, and put in the American release of Elvis's 1978 album Armed Forces. (This Elvis is English too, BTW.)
