Building the danged fence!

Why the AntiChrist topic key here? It's just that it's been underutilized and, well, this freaking guy:

The image above is from our old post Speaking Dead of the Ill - re Juan McAmnesty. A commenter going by the name of Harry Baldwin wrote this comment that reminded me of the similarity between the Bai Dien Border Wall Bullshit going on now and the story of John McCain, aka, Juan McAmnesty and his own Border Bullshit from 13-16 years ago.
It reminds me of the odious John McCain, who, while campaigning, said, “Build the dang wall!” in a commercial, then went back to supporting open-borders after his reelection.
Yep, Peak Stupidity remembers, and "odious" is the perfect adjective too.

The reader may want to check out this March '10 ABC News article, but video may help jog your memory too.

Juan McAmnesty on completing that danged fence!:

Then, an attempt at an explanation from McAmnesty on why no danged fence was completed:

"They just decided not to do that." "You're right - that's why people are cynical - you're exactly right."

This more evil than stupid Senator and continual Presidential candidate (he was the GOP nominee in '08), said this while he was gunning hard for President in a Vanity Fair interview in '07: "I think the fence is least effective. But I'll build the goddamned fence if they want it.". No, he was not too thrilled about his Arizona or future nationwide constituents demanding stuff that was in conflict with the wishes of his donors! He was flat-out lying there.

That's what you gotta do when elections are coming up... real pain in the ass, too.

Lucy and Charlie Brown have gotten almost 2 decades older since then, but Charlie Brown has still now wised up. It's getting to be too late.

Thanks, Harry Baldwin for the (bad) memories.

PS...A fantastic blurb on the king of the Republican border traitors. I think that dedicating space for great moments in hypocrisy and betrayal is an excellent idea.

I share Mblanc46's perspective on JM's service record. I can say with sincerity that McCain is the only US combat veteran (who I'm aware of) to whom our debt can be stamped, "PAID IN FULL." After Viet Nam, he left this critically ill wife for a wealthy beauty pageant contestant, and things only went downhill from there (morally speaking.)

PS Juan “Betrayed His Comrades in Vietnam” McAmnesty. Burning in Hell, one imagines.

PS: Lol... Well, yes it is, Achmed.

1 million square miles would also be 144,521.7234 leagues.
(A league is equivalent to 5,000 sq varas or 4,428.4 acres.)

Or just shy of 259 million hectares.

PS: "640 million acres" That's amazingly exactly 1 million square miles, Adam.

PS: Good evening,

In total, the 2018 data shows that of the 26.9 million acres the DoD owns, 98% of it is in the U.S. Abroad, the U.S. owns large swaths of land in the German, Japanese and South Korean colonies.

https://www.militarytimes.com/off-duty/military-culture/2022/08/15/how-much-land-does-the-military-really-own/

Meanwhile, The feral “government” owns about 640 million acres of land in the United States.
(about 28% of the land in the U.S.)

PS: Also, Alarmist, I don't think Americans in general are stupid, but they are often ignorant of what's going on and apathetic even when they do know.

PS: Alarmist, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Family Dollar are the poor man's Wal-Mart now. I met a lady about 5 years ago who worked for the corporate office of one of them. She said they were going gangbusters. I guess they'll keep the name, because nobody actually says stuff must be a dollar.

I wrote a post on this a year and a half ago:

"The newest 5 and 10 stores"

Anyway, I hope you don't have to go RK there. Wouldn't Gov. DeSantis be sending these people away somewhere... far to the north?

PS

The problem with the Charlie Brown/Lucy analogy is that CB was at heart a decent guy and not totally stupid, but definitely too trusting.

How about Road Runner/Coyote(self-proclaimed Super-Genius) or Elmer Fudd/Bugs Bunny?

My EuroWife loves the Dollar Tree, so we went there today to fill up on bric-a-brac, that she crafts into all sorts of home decor, and cleaning supplies of dubious quality. Simply fascinting to watch her in action. The remarkable change between last Spring and now was the increase in the number of Mestizos (0 then, a half dozen or so today), of varying degrees of hygiene stretching their UN/Uncle Sugar/NWO debit card allowances.

There are now a dozen or so who have taken up residence on the median strip of the causeway that connects to our barrier island oceanfront road, pretty much where the BSers (Biden Shuttlers) dropped them. No problems so far, but I’ve already mapped out my AO in the event I need to go RK (Rooftop Korean).

PS: I got your image - there's some serious Feng Shui for ya! First I thought about China Lake, California, out in the Mohave Desert. The Navy "owns" over 1 million acres! Thenk there's China Grove... you can even hear the music at night ...

Do you mean museums in LA or in China, SafeNow?

I think the message of Bandi’s “China Lake” is that control over the people has resulted in an immersion that reduces individuality; creates a unity …for better or for worse. I am filling the gap in China blogging, if I may, with
a brief visit to Chinese contemporary art, which is doing well in China; A new museum opens every week!
