might be? Excuse me? Zerohedge includes this part as half of this post.

First, Trump again took the opportunity to slam the UN, saying “there is such tremendous potential, but it is not living up,” he told reporters at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach. "When do you see the United Nations solving problems? They don’t. They cause problems.” “So, if it lives up to its potential, it’s a great thing,” Trump added when asked if the U.S. should leave 71-year-old organization. "And if it doesn’t, it’s a waste of time and money.” (The last quote, starting with "And", does not fit in with the other sentences grammatically, but we like it.) BTW, we don't say this about the UN just because of some spat with Israel; this is a long-term feeling.

We haven't heard enough of this type of talk since the days of the John Birch Society. Trump, more than anybody, as a property tycoon in New York City, should know how much that building in Manhattan could fetch in the open market. I imagine a buyer could fill it up in a week with Chinese government officials that make as much as 8000 yuan RMB/month over in Peking (converts to about $1150/month at present exchange rates). That doesn't sound like a lot, but one can easily increase that by 2 or 3 orders-of-magnitude with a little elbow grease and quanxi. They could ship over the kids as anchor babies to enroll in the fancy $30,000/year preschools to academically kick the ass of the children of the Kenyan, Indonesian, and Venezuelan UN delegations, who would be busy packing up their shit anyway.

East Riverfront property with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge - THIS IS YUUUGE!
